Crescent is pleased to announced that its daughter company Remoticom has won an additional Smart City project for the city of Karlovac, central Croatia, reaffirming the company’s strategic expansion into Eastern Europe.

The city of Karlovac has signed its Energy Performance Contract (EPC) for the refurbishment of the public lighting. The scope of the contract is the refurbishment of overall public lighting, consisting of 9.083 luminaires and the displacement of 152 public lighting cabinets that are placed inside the DSO transformer station. Remoticom’s smart controllers enable wireless remote management of the public lighting luminaires in the city of Karlovac.

A consortium led by Neos D.O.O. will manage the entire project in collaboration with local partners.   Neos is specialized in conducting public lighting modernization projects and financial and investment consulting, offering its customers the best choice of technical and technological solutions. For the Karlovac city project, 9.2 k Remoticom controllers will be delivered to Neos in August 2024 for implementation in the city of Karlovac by October 2024.
